The § 16a visa for the Ausbildung

The national § 16a visa under the Residence Act (AufenthG) lets you follow an Ausbildung in Germany. You apply after signing your training contract.

• Valid passport
• Signed training contract
• German certificate
• Diplomas and transcripts with certified translations
• Proof of funds if the training salary is not enough
• VFS Global appointment

The visa costs 50 000 XAF, or 25 000 XAF for under 18s. VFS Global fees come on top. You pay them directly to the services concerned.

You submit your application yourself. We check your file before the appointment and prepare you for the questions. No payment is tied to getting a visa.
